Hale:

You can see any skill under any profession's attributes by going to a Priest of Balthazaar. These will not only be organized but will be updated with patches and will not become obsolete.
On the PvE aspect of not having the guide: That can only be solved by a bit of patience. Let some people go through it, and spread the word down to those behind. It will all become clear eventually.

Back on topic.

I've been scrambling through the end of NF hurrying desperately to get to the DoA since its first mention. I just reached the RoT and my friend with whom I'm doing the game with had to log off I was so disappointed that I would miss the first drops and screenies and such, but now I'm not so sad, by the time I get there some of the tough parts might be worked out! wewt.

Geezus. Your post is not only way off topic, but you're complaining for the sake of complaining for the wrong reasons at the wrong people. And you do realize that you can look up the skills on the forums right?

But then again I shouldnt expect much from someone who can't tell the difference between "no" and "know"

Lots of attributing your feelings to everyone else. Little substance. For your suggested "survey", I, for one, appreciate such difficult areas, because I know eventually we'll get them figured out and I will know I am a good player because I was able to accomplish something that not everyone could. That is one of the points of the elite mission, isn't it ? Having such an area in the game cannot possibly detract from the playing experience of casual players, since they still have all the other content. So, don't get so hung up on an area that is too difficult - just go explore the Plains of Jarin where you will probably enjoy yourself more.

Ok, Gaile, you can tell us the truth. :P The devs haven't completed everything, so they give us this update, knowing we'll never get to the parts they haven't done, right ? LOL. Just kidding, but obviously, the thought did cross my mind. :P

Nah, only Blizzard does that (and the Everquest devs before them)

Margonites do strip enchantments. Not often, but enough.

Some obvious questions have been:
1) What do Coffer of Whisper's do.

2) How do you get the Embraces of Truth for the weapons (or w/e they are called)

I guess these will get answered the second a group actually makes it past the first 5 or so mobgroups in an area :\ (I was able to kill 2 groups with just Heros , only because I had 2 nukers and they were obstructed from hitting us down in a river thingie)

Each of the 4 areas has an "overlord" boss at the end too it seems, It'll be fun to read about beating them.

Eitherway, I'll be saving my team in the area until after rewards are confirmed, from the outpost all I can see is some scrub Hero Armor guy, and some ugly (IMO) Weapons.

Doesn't work, the margonites take 1 damage from sliver armor. You'll never kill anything.

You don't even have to do DOA if you don't want to unlike places such as gate of madness. Already people are bashing this area. In a short time builds and tactics to do this mission will be discovered and if you don't like DOA don't do it.

Well it looks like I found that Abyssal’s I was looking for in the realm of toument. Hounestly I feel like im the only one laughing at this, to me it’s hystrical. Not one of the so called “farming builds” work here, even if they had a lvl8 lightbringer title. I think A-net really did a service to all of by providing a kick butt dungen style area. Iv’e died so many times it’s pathetic but I still laugh. All ive been doing latly here is primary chest runs, it seems the only prductive thing you can do (and the rewards have been exelent). Thank you A-team.

To everyone who is crying how the realm is too hard and it's so unfair, some of you may or may not remember the UW and FoW back before people actually figured them out and came up with certain builds that worked very well in them. I was in several groups that wiped to the very first group of Ataxes. This was about 16 months ago, now that we've tamed the UW and FoW, ANet has given us an even tougher challenge, quit whining and enjoy it, or continue whining and go back to your safe UW and FoW.

No offense but that is bullcrap and you know it. There is no way that a group of 5 (with four of them being heroes none-the-less) could beat it. Sorry but just no.

Oh yeah, make sure each mob group is close to each others so you can't never really aggro one group.

I would love to go to DoA but what is the ultimate reward you get out of here? Another green weapons or rare items? No thanks, i got quests and missions to finish with my Dervish and Ranger.
Excactly my thoughts. I want enemies with challenging AI instead of enemies who 1-hit 3 of my party members at once.

It's a game, an excellent game, a challenging game. I don't understand how fair means fighting exact same level as yours. I enjoy the challenge.

Actually, I agree with you that it IS a FAVOR!!! They add a FREE area, missions, quests... that were NOT included the game you PAID for. This is EXTRA, something ANET does NOT have to do, just like all the special events that we all enjoy and were not part of the original game. Stop whining, and be grateful that they BOTHER and take time adding things for us, FREE.

Yes, they have nothing better to do that laugh at you while they sip some coffee. Impossible to do? maybe impossible to you, but I assure you, people will beat it. It's an ELITE area, it's meant to be HARD. If it's too hard for you, go play Sesame Street. You don't want to move up ur six characters? so? what's your point? Why would you sit there and play a game that is NOT fun, is HARD, and tedious and boring? mmmmmmmmmmmm , that really makes a lot of sense.

Maybe YOU should develop your OWN game? Do you think you have the brains for it? Oh yeah I forgot, you sit there and play a game that is NOT fun, is HARD, and tedious and boring? mmmmmmmmmmmm

Memememememememememe
I can't WAIT!!!!
Seriously, you might want to take a long look at your behavior. You buy a game, you don't like it, DON'T play it, simple. Play something that's easier and that you actually have fun with, I believe that's the purpose of games.

I have bought games that I did not enjoy. So? I put them away, and find one that I do enjoy. I don't whine about how hard it is, about how I WANT it to be, and sit there all frustrated blaming the developers because I KNOW they are watching me and laughing at me and made it hard just to aggravate me.
I see dead margonites, I hear little voices... GWEN??? IS that YOU???

Unlike any games out there, ANET DOES listen to our requests, the reasonable ones. Is it a perfect game? no, but it's not a perfect world either.
Do I love and agree with all the updates? no, but I move on, adapt and continue to have fun. If the day ever comes that I stop having fun, it will be then that I will stop playing, but I don't see that happening anytime soon!!!

I tried it in a pug and we went down quick..)I did one of the other portals with just heroes for a look see and I lasted longer. It was a easier area from the other. It looked as if you could pull the groups to a managable size.
Having a ranger I switched to trapper.Seems to be a demand for them.
I am just curious why Anet set this up this way.Are they looking to push certain builds only?Certain classes?
To get the RIT you need to do certain mission. So are they doing it so only so many people can have the hero?
What really interest me is getting the Rit but if the hero is only good for after you beat the game then it is a waste.I like to use my heroes through out the game. That is the fun part for me.
Also just a note:Someone mentioned something about people being anti social because they did hero/hench thru the game.It could be because they were tired of dealing with prima donnas and leets you run into in pugs. They always seem to be the first to bail out or go afk in pugs I been in.Anyhow that is mach nix ...you buy games for fun...so have fun...oh well
